My right eyelid's constantly twitching for these past 2-3 days. At first I thought It was just a temporarily thing that would likely stop in a minute or so. But It keeps twitching and twitching and I've reached a point where I really want to put a tape on it and wear a Pirate's Eye patch to cover it up!.. such a creative, yet weak idea cause it won't necessarily solve the problem (or maybe It will, who knows).
As an attempt to diagnose what might cause it, I googled it through. What I had then was thousand of websites explaining the meaning of it according to (java) divining manual/Javanese Horoscope known as Primbon Jawa (I use key words "kedutan mata kanan" = Eye Twitching in Bahasa).
Couple of websites said that the twitching meant as a sign you'll find a great deal of fortune while the other sources said that it’s actually a portent you'll have an utterly real deep sorrow. There're even couple more websites stating different analysis like it's a sign you'll find a love of your life or that you'll be invited to a big revelry... basically choose whatever works for ya since apparently Javanese Psychics have yet had a consensus in determining what means what.

By the time I felt like I’ve joked myself long enough, I did browse it again with different key words and found an interesting fact that eye twitching is believed to be caused by an abnormal functioning of certain nerve areas located at the base of the brain which control the coordination of muscle movements. In the majority of people it appears without any real known cause. Frequently, the signs and symptoms of dry eye occur right before or along with the appearance of eye twitching. Some research indicates that dry eye is a trigger for blepharospasm (medical terms for eye twitching).
Other common eye twitch causes include: Stress/Irritation of the Cornea or Conjunctiva/Fatigue/Lack of sleep/Prolonged staring at a computer screen or television/Nervous system disorders.
Now that makes much more sense to me!
