Tummy: Nasi Rawon

Nasi Rawon is one of our fave Indonesian/east java soup best served while still piping hot. It is short of a comfort food really and back then, it's no way we could make Rawon as we kinda sucked at cooking recipes that involve seasoning/spices beyond salt and pepper. Thanks to whoever make Bamboe, we now obstacle-free to cook variety of Indonesian dishes. Awesome.
Tonight we have Nasi Rawon for dinner. Courtesy of my personal chef. I suppose this what husband is for.

You'll need: Beef (brisket/shank), chopped shallots, Bamboe instant spices, eggs-boiled, tomatoes if preferred, fish chips and fried onions // fry chopped shallots on the wok/pot with a drizzle of oil until aromatic, put in the instant spices, add in water, beef and simmer until meat gets tender. Serve it with rice, boiled egg, chopped tomatoes, chip and fried onions.
