Thoughts: Only Jakarta and I Until He Finally Came Along

It was nearly too late when I realize that life does not deliver you love wrapped up in a nice neat package. Nor it delivers you love for free as you have to earn it to own it. For these past nine years, I paid less but have received more. I was inanextremelyseriousrelationship with my self. Not him.

Couple days ago, as I watched the blue Jakarta sky turned into the majestic magenta alone through the window in my hotel room, I came to realize that love isn’t a state of being at all.  It changes but still is marked by choise, by commitment, by dedication. It is a decision that may have to be made again and again and again, with the same person.
I know that now, cause he's doing it.
